Collection: Roberto

Hello! My name is Roberto, and I'm one of the young men at Helping Hands Orphanage in the Dominican Republic.

I enjoy playing with the younger children, playing basketball,

spending time at the beach, listening to music, playing video games, and making people laugh. I love a good joke, and spending time with my friends is always one of the best parts of my day.

I am part of the leadership team at Helping Hands, where I enjoy helping Pastor Pedro with whatever needs to be done. Serving others is important to me, and I strive to lead by example through kindness, patience, respect, and honesty. I believe in treating everyone with dignity, telling the truth, and giving generously whenever I can. People often describe me as a true gentleman, and I hope my actions reflect the values I've been taught.

One of my favorite opportunities is translating for medical teams from the United States when they visit the Dominican Republic. I enjoy using my English skills to help bridge the language gap so patients and volunteers can communicate more easily. It is a privilege to serve in this way and help others feel welcomed and understood.

My favorite colors are blue and black, and my birthday is May 12.

I'm thankful for the missionaries who have visited Helping Hands, as well as Pastor Pedro and all of the leaders here who have encouraged me along the way. Their love, guidance, and support have helped shape the person I am becoming.

I'm working hard to build a better future and am always looking for opportunities to learn and grow. Every purchase of one of my designs helps me gain valuable experience while supporting my education and preparing me for an independent future.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me and for supporting Helping Hands Orphanage. Your encouragement and generosity mean more than you know, and I hope my artwork brings a little joy to your home while reminding you that together we are changing lives.
