At Helping Hands Orphanage, we believe every child deserves more than a safe place to live. They deserve the opportunity to build a meaningful future.

These young men represent some of the many boys who have graduated from high school through the years. Some of these graduations are recent, while others remind us of the lasting impact Helping Hands has made over decades of ministry. Every graduate tells the same story—one of perseverance, encouragement, and hope.

Education has always been a cornerstone of our mission. Every boy living at Helping Hands attends school, and we encourage each one to continue his education through a university or technical school whenever possible. Our desire is to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to become independent adults who contribute to their families, their communities, and the future of the Dominican Republic. Our ministry emphasizes education because we believe it opens doors to opportunity and gives these young men the tools to build productive, meaningful lives.

But our mission extends far beyond academics.

Helping Hands was founded by Pastor Pedro with a vision of sharing the love of Jesus Christ with every child who comes through our doors. Along with their education, the boys are taught God's Word, encouraged to develop Christian character, and challenged to become faithful followers of Christ.

Our greatest hope is not simply that these young men will find successful careers. We pray they will become godly husbands, fathers, leaders, and servants who reflect Christ in everything they do. We want them to know the joy of following Jesus, the assurance of eternal life, and the privilege of sharing that hope with others.

As we celebrate these graduates, we also look ahead to the many boys who are following in their footsteps. Their stories are still being written, and with God's help—and the support of friends like you—we look forward to celebrating many more graduations in the years to come.
